Lance The PI News — Update on the fatal motorcycle crash on Northgate Boulevard in South Natomas.

The motorcyclist critically injured in a crash at Northgate Boulevard and Bridgeford Drive in South Natomas has died. The Sacramento County Coroner has identified the victim as Trevor Hayes, 31, of Sacramento. This is a South Natomas News update to our original breaking coverage of this crash.

Hayes was involved in a collision with a vehicle at the intersection on the morning of Monday, May 11, 2026. He was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and did not survive. Sacramento Police Department accident investigators were on scene using 3D mapping technology to document and reconstruct the crash.

Following our live coverage, viewers reached out with information about Hayes. One commenter said Trevor was on his way to work at the time of the crash. Another viewer shared that her husband and son were among the first people on scene after the collision occurred.
